ISS Show

Ft. Worth, TX
September 30 - October 2

On Friday, October 1, 2010, M&R will team up with Gildan to attempt a new world record for shirts printed in one hour by a single operator.

The attempt—on a high-performance Challenger III—will take place at the ISS Show in Ft. Worth, Texas. The shirts, provided by Gildan, will be donated to charity following the record-setting effort.

The current record was set in 2005 by M&R and Maddie Sikorski. Working alone, Ms. Sikorski used an M&R Formula® 2000 12-color and a Passport™ Automatic Textile Unloader to produce 1807 4-color shirts in one hour. Amazingly, there were only two misprints, so the record stands at 1805 shirts per hour.

Rich Hoffman, M&R’s CEO, said, “A lot has happened in the five years since that record was set, but the elements that went into setting it haven’t. It still requires a phenomenal press, an extraordinary operator, and high-quality, easy-to-load shirts. Maddie and the Formula set the bar very high, but I’m confident that our new Challenger III will be up to the task.”

ISS Ft. Worth is the industry's leading event for the decorated apparel and imprinted products industry with over 13,000 attendees and close to 500 exhibitors. The 2009 show was a raving success, with new attendees, exhibitors, and all the newest products and equipment!
